風 [kaze; wind] | In collaboration with Jenn Ha-Trang Nguyen.

狐 [kitsune; fox] is a recurring symbol in religious and mythological beliefs in Japan.

狐 [kitsune] often fall into two categories. 善狐 [zenko] 'good foxes' who are considered as 神 [kami; god/higher-being] and represent prosperity, intelligence, bountiful harvest, and fertility. And 野狐 [nogitsune; bad foxes] who are known to be cunning tricksters, or 妖怪 [yōkai; strange apparition], often feeding on human greed, pride & vanity.

Both 狐 [kitsune] are perceived as 精霊 [seirei; spirit] and are sometimes associated with 風 [kaze; wind]. They are both also said to be able to shapeshift and gain tails as they grow older & more powerful.
