Kharisel started illustrating as a hobby, and it sparked her dream to pursue something artistic as a career. The dream came true when she migrated from the Philipines to Canada in 2014. At Centennial College, she learned foundational skills in graphic design. After graduation, Kharisel joined Pixel Dreams as a multidisciplinary designer, where she’s active today. Her art is inspired by whimsical characters or elements ― things straight out of fantasy combined with lively colours or sometimes type.
