About the Artist
Michael “Ensign-M” Melo
Since he was 12, Michael has loved illusions and psychedelic art. The tricks that graphics can play on the eye have always intrigued him and ultimately led to a graphic design career. Now, Michael is only beginning this journey, and learning how design goes further than visual mind games to communicate ideas. Learning motion design as a hobby allows him to create movement within ideas and bring them to life. Michael’s next step is to bring the art pieces he’s presenting tonight into motion and see what opportunities lie within.
